Q. Do I have enough people to make a party?
A. YES! I've done parties where there was the hostess and one other person! Usually you can get outside orders.
Q. Who do I invite?
A. EVERYONE! On average only 10-20% of people will show up to any event. The best parties are when you literally invite everyone you know and hope for the best. My last party I invited over 200 people 12 people showed up, I had 5 outside orders and it was a $900 party!
Q. What if I'm not a party person?
A. That is ok! If you don't want to host a party for whatever reason I suggest doing a catalog party then you can at least let your friends decide for themselves
Q. Does it take a lot of work to host a party?
A. Absolutely not! I do most of the work. I do ask that you make a sincere effort to invite everyone you can and be enthusiastic (an enthusiastic hostess makes for enthusiastic customers) other than that I bring everything to you. I encourage everyone to sit down relax and have fun.
Q. Do we have to play games or can we play games?
A. I usually like to ask if you like the games or not. I can make this time as cheesy or non cheesy as you like. If you like it very cut and dry I just explain the products and let you and your friends dig in! If you like games I will include those as well.
Q. What type of refreshments should I serve?
A. Depends on the event. I usually suggest not something with a lot of scent (you don't want your olfactory senses working overtime). I usually do store bought vegie/fruit tray with some juice or flavored water. The simpler the better.
Q. I am allergic to blank ___________ can you make sure I don't come in contact with this product?
A. I will try my hardest, however, if it is a severe allergy I cannot always guarantee that a surprise scent may be slipped in there. In order for the company to make some of the more complicated combination scents they include things that are not always expected and I may not catch it as there is 80+ scents and they change every season.
Q. Do I have to have my party posted on the website?
A. No, however, it is helpful because I do have customers who go on there to place orders and just order out of whatever party is open to help each other out. Having it posted on the internet does not change anything about how your order is placed.
Q. What happens if I am hosting a basket party and the _________ is broken/lost/stolen?
A. First I want to say this has NEVER happened to any of my customers (I did break a warmer after a show once :) I know life happens however, due to the cost of the products if I don't get things out of the basket back then I do need to ask that they are replaced (obviously if you are using samples then I don't expect those back)..... This is if a warmer was broken/stolen, a buddy didn't come back for whatever reason etc.
Q. If there is something in the basket that one of my friends wants to buy can I sell it to them?
A. This depends on what it is. I often include my personal warmers in the basket parties (plus your friend would probably want the unused warmer anyway:), sometimes there are scent circles etc included in the baskets usually I don't mind those being sold. If it's there may as well sell it!
Q. Is there any benefits to my friends buying at the party instead of later?
A. Sometimes! I offer different specials all the time to encourage people to attend your party and buy so that you get the most free products possible.
Q. I earned 1/2 price items and hostess credits can I combine these, are my hostess reward usable on the packages?
A. You cannot put the 1/2 price perks toward your free items and you cannot buy any of the combine and save option with your credits.
Q. What if I don't want to use my 1/2 price items? Will they roll over to my next order?
A. You don't have to use any of your hostess benefits, but why wouldn't you? No benefits do not roll over into the next order.
