I love these! You will often hear me call them Car Candles because that is the original name for them. They changed the name so that it didn't imply that they could ONLY be used in the car.
I never put mine in the window I usually hide them on the side panels in my car, when they stop smelling I cut them in half and throw one on each side of the vehicle. How long it lasts depends on the scent you choose.
I also use them in the diaper pail. We use cloth diapers but we have a regular pail that has a wet sack liner. I took out the air freshner that came with it and put the scentsy freshner in there instead. Whenever the diaper pail is opened it smells like Clean Breeze (https://jobennett.scentsy.us/Buy/ProductDetails/CC-CLE). Well until recently but hey, my daughter is 6 months old and I've never changed it :)
While I was cleaning things out I came across some OLD scent circles that I didn't want to sell because they were, well old, and they were starting to look it. So I gave one to my 16 year old sister. She just started back to school and was in the locker room when she decided to bring it out. (convenient place to put one in my opinion:) Her friend questioned her on what it was so she told her then she tossed it in the locker and went to class. After class apparently she opened the locker and all you could smell was the scent circle. (She had Beach scent- a scent from last season). I have a feeling that once the school year goes on I may be getting her a few more of those.
